The burst speed of Deskstar 7K1000 is 185.9MB/s which is quiet good when compared with its peers like Samsung, Seagate and western digital.

Although this hard disk does not have a good speed when compared with its peers it’s really a good deal for the customer’s. The Deskstar 7K1000 is priced at 250$ which is comparatively cheaper when considering its introductory price. This price will even come down as there are chances for 2TB hard disk drives.
